featuredSession Keepaway
A few months back, while awaiting the release of their debut EP, Baby Style, Brooklyn’s Keepaway dropped into the freqControl Sessions to capture a few unreleased tracks. The band (Mike Burakoff, Frank Lyon, and Nick Nauman) has been making waves locally and around the country, and in this session we are able to take a peek into their unique brand of music making. This is a group bending inspiration, blending influences and bottling energy. Their unique mix of acoustic and electronic drums, guitar and synth, coupled with three part harmonies, make for a style of pop music that is all their own.
